I like it because hopefully Vicki & Paul will be at home with me all day - unless they go out celebrating somewhere - they haven't checked with me if that is okay.

There is a funny ad campaign around this time of year to get the people of Australia to eat more Lamb - the National Dish (like Turkey at Thanksgiving!)

Bathtime

Over Summer, Vicki & Paul like to give me a bath - it hasn't happened this year - yet - but I am ever watchful.

Summer Garden

Over summer I have become a bit of a garden bed dweller.....see if you can see me in some of these pictures. It is lovely and cool amongst the foliage of the garden and I can see who comes and goes from the house.....

Today I went to the V-E-T!

I wasn't very happy when I saw the cat carrier come out a couple of days ago. And last night Vicki and Paul insisted on playing in it with me. I stayed out all night to inconvenience them and made Vicki get out of bed at 4.00am to let me in. I was hoping to make them so tired and worried about me that they wouldn't take me anywhere in the cat carrier.

But this morning, Vicki picked me up and loaded me into the dreaded cat carrier and I was driven across town - luckily only to the Vet. I had a thorough checkover from the lovely Vet who I hadn't met before but I really liked her. She then gave me a needle which didn't hurt at all and I got a worming tablet too. Apparently I was given the all clear and then Vicki chauffeur-drove me home again.

I then had to check all the perimeters and hidey holes to make sure no one had penetrated the boundaries while I was temporarily indisposed......

Thank goodness that is over for another year.
