The Photo Game

Open your photos folder and select the 6th folder.
Then select the 6th photo in that folder and post that photo
along with the story behind the photo on your blog.

This is a photo that Paul and Vicki took a couple of years ago when a bad bushfire went through a town close by. The roads had been closed off for about a week while they got the fires under control and Vicki and Paul wanted to see how extensive the fire was when the roads were opened again. It is in an area called the Bells Line of Road. Bushfires are a way of life here. Vicki even evacuated me from our house once when the fire got about 200 metres away. Vicki left when she could see the flames and Paul stayed to protect my house. The Bushfire Brigade were close by too. They do a fantastic job. And they are all volunteers.
