My Cousin Milo
When Vicki and Paul were away, they stayed with Pauls sister and brother in law - Kris and John. Check out what my very clever cousin can do!!!!
I wish I could do that. Occasionally I get in the bathtub and lick that after someone has had a shower.....

More nice pictures
Apparently you all enjoyed the photos of Fraser Island so much that Vicki wants me to include more. Vicki cannot take any credit for the photos. Vicki and Paul enjoyed the scenic joy flight over Fraser Island so much and the very entertaining pilot that Paul tipped Gerry (the pilot) and he gave Vicki this cool CD of aerial shots of the island. Heaps better than anything she took!!!
Well enjoy the photos:

Fraser Island
I have been resting today as it was such hard work checking everything yesterday. Vicki and I have been resting on the lounge watching television. She watched The Bill and a Harry Potter movie.
(It's raining outside - good lounge/tv weather).

Yay! I am back!!!!
Vicki rescued me from the Cat Resort today. I was very surprised to see her and wasn't really ready to come home yet. They have lots of great things to do there. I was hiding in a tunnel sling - very comfortable.....and Sylvia said I did lots of sleeping on my heat pad - but it was a cold two weeks!!!!
I have been very busy today making sure that everything is where I left it, that every room in the house is the same and nothing is moved around outside - phew! It is tiring work having to check all my perimeters again!
Oh yeah, and here are some photos of Fraser Island where Vicki & Paul went - apparently they went on a scenic flight which was a big deal (*yawn*).......
The main thing is, I am now home again and King of the Kingdom....

I think I am off to the Pet Resort.....
The suitcases are out and getting packed.....the cat carrier has materialised. I think it is because Vicki & Paul might be going somewhere....I even heard the phrase "2 weeks" being bandied around.
If I don't blog for the next few weeks it will be because Vicki & Paul have put me in the Cattery. You can see how cool it is - I have a link down the side of the blog.... There are great cats to play with there - their owners are also off swanning around somewhere and we play with all the great toys with a good view. I just don't get to roam around my very own garden. But I do get a heat pad in my bed so it is lovely and warm all the time!

Library Cat Blog
Well I don't know what all the fuss is about. Vicki is very excited to have found a Library Cat blog - just because she works in a Library.....
Go and check out Tober's awesome blog:
The Adventures of Tober
Here is the first entry on the blog:
Hello! My name is Tober, and I am Thorntown Public Library's newest employee! I am a 2-year-old orange tiger-kitty, and I'm just getting to know my new home. I was rescued by my boss, Karen Niemeyer, who thought that I would be a perfect fit for library work. I live in a staff office in the adult department, where I am learning my new job as PR Director.
This is only my second day at work. I was a bit intimidated on my first day; I spent most of it hiding under a colleague's desk, wondering if I could handle the job. However, I made good use of my evening off, inspecting the facilities, the sleeping arrangements, and the cafeteria, and I've decided that this will be a wonderful place to work!
This morning they took me to the doctor. We could've skipped that (I tried to tell them, but no one wanted to listen), but the people at the Thorntown Veterinary Clinic were very nice. They complimented my looks (nice AND smart!), petted me, and told me I was a good kitty. I came home to my adoring colleagues, and have spent much of the day trying out new chairs and watching our customers come and go.
That's all I have to say for now. I have to get busy working on my job description!
Boy, what a busy job he has - nearly as busy as my yard patrolling!
For those of you who are interested, go and see a Librarian's blog (yawn!):

But just don't forget how cute I am.....

Just to clarify....
I thought I had better clarify the bushfire photo - that was from 2005. We didn't have bushfires close to us at all this year. The Victoria fires are about 12 hours drive away (1000kms). Last time Vicki evacuated me from the house was in 2003 - that was a bad year!
Sorry to scare you all.

The Photo Game
This is a fun game that my Friend, Cheyenne-Millie sent me:
Millie's blog
The rules are:
Open your photos folder and select the 6th folder.
Then select the 6th photo in that folder and post that photo
along with the story behind the photo on your blog.
Then tag 5 friends.
This is a photo that Paul and Vicki took a couple of years ago when a bad bushfire went through a town close by. The roads had been closed off for about a week while they got the fires under control and Vicki and Paul wanted to see how extensive the fire was when the roads were opened again. It is in an area called the Bells Line of Road. Bushfires are a way of life here. Vicki even evacuated me from our house once when the fire got about 200 metres away. Vicki left when she could see the flames and Paul stayed to protect my house. The Bushfire Brigade were close by too. They do a fantastic job. And they are all volunteers. Check out their website for more information:
NSW Bush Fire Brigade
I tag the following kitties to play this game....
Pemberley
Jasmim
Mishkat
Sweet Praline
Aoise

Vicki's Conference
Vicki recently went to a conference at Parkes. Have a look at the menu......
Did you spot the typo? At least I hope it was a typo...surely Vicki wouldn't really eat Roasted Cats???? The menu must mean roasted carrots. Yes, I am sure that is what they meant to type.......
