Where have I been?

OMG! I have just got back from the Cattery again.
What on earth are Paul and Vicki thinking?
They apparently went to Darwin so Paul could watch V8s with Kevin while Michelle and Vicki did the Markets and sightseeing and general girly catchup.

Michelle and Kevin moved to Darwin a few years ago and now Paul and Vicki use this as an excuse to visit! Vicki knew them when they lived in Bondi and she lived in Coogee (in Sydney) in the 90s.

Apparently, they got to meet Michelle and Kevins new cat - Minke. I will show you photos once they are all downloaded (hint of sarcasm in the voice - and no, no I'm not jealous!). But I was upset to hear that Michelle and Kevin lost their companion of 20 years - Pushka. RIP Pushka. Her ashes are now scattered in the Darwin garden.

Now for those of you who don't know what V8s are - its a car racing meet that goes all around Australia.

I am busy ignoring Vicki & Paul.

Yay - I'm back!!!!!!

I had a lovely time at my Pet resort. Aunty Sylvia told Vicki that I spent my days in the Sun Room Play Room where I hogged the hammock (who wouldn't???)

Look what Vicki and Paul brought me back from Turkey - a lovely kilim for the kitchen. I look lovely on it don't I?

Thanks for all your messages while I was away. I am just reading them now. I promise to get around and visit you all over the weekend....

Vicki & Paul going on Holidays...

I found the suitcases in the end bedroom. I tried to hide and stow away but I was discovered.

This must mean Vicki and Paul are going on holidays. I get sent off to a lovely pet resort called the Megalong Valley Cattery when they do this....

Sylvia treats me really well. We have heated pads in our baskets and I can come and go from my cage throughout the day as I am a really well behaved cat and socialise with the others really well too. Last time Vicki came to pick me up and I didn't want to leave - she was upsetting my routine - I was doing hammock time.

The time before Paul came with Vicki to collect me and I gave Paul a tour of the Cattery - my room, my bed, my bowls, the kitchen, the outdoor play areas. It was great showing Paul what I got up to.

If you want to follow Paul & Vicki's holiday blog while they are away, here it is. I will be following them on their adventures!

I will do the occasional Wordless Wednesday while they are away, but I will chat to you all when my holiday is over too.

Yay! I am back!!!!

Vicki rescued me from the Cat Resort today. I was very surprised to see her and wasn't really ready to come home yet. They have lots of great things to do there. I was hiding in a tunnel sling - very comfortable.....and Sylvia said I did lots of sleeping on my heat pad - but it was a cold two weeks!!!!

I have been very busy today making sure that everything is where I left it, that every room in the house is the same and nothing is moved around outside - phew! It is tiring work having to check all my perimeters again!

Oh yeah, and here are some photos of Fraser Island where Vicki & Paul went - apparently they went on a scenic flight which was a big deal (*yawn*).......

The main thing is, I am now home again and King of the Kingdom....
