I want my dinner!
Vicki found some old footage of me she had taken on her phone. Here I am asking - very patiently - where my dinner is. I believe Paul is actually chopping the best bits off the chicken for me. Vicki and Paul use the leftover chicken in their dinner.
Vicki apologises for the bad footage and the angle etc - she does not make a very good camera person or director! But you get to hear my voice.
I will get Vicki to post some more of the footage over the next few days.

The new dining suite....
Vicki & Paul bought new chairs for the dining table - how nice are these? The first night I hid on the far ones so I could see everything that was happening in the kitchen but no one could see me (hee, hee, hee).....

I got a postcard!
I got a postcard today! It is from my friends Selina and Simon. They are having a fabulous holiday at Fraser Island. They sent me a postcard with pictures of dingoes, turtles, lace monitors and lots of birds.
I hope they are having a good time. Especially now - there is torrential rain up that way at the moment (and it is pouring here too!).
I love getting postcards from faraway places.

Stay dry! I hide under the house in this weather and keep the ride-on lawnmower warm.

The New Kitchen
Vicki & Paul installed a new kitchen for me last year. That was so much fun while the builders were pulling walls off, pulling up lino and ripping cupboards out. I got to explore lots of nooks and crannies in the house I had never seen before. I sat and ate lunch with the builders every day. They let me in and out of the house to do regular inspections.
Even Gazza the Gargoyle had to wear a dust mask!
The only time I got cranky was when the kitchen was finally in and Vicki did not put my food back in the cupboard. I miaowed until she did. I was very happy when it went back into the new cupboard in exactly the same spot. I like it when everything is in its place.
I think they chose the colours to match me - what do you think?

Perry the Possum
Vicki left some bread out and Perry the Possum came past (as he does most nights) and helped himself. If you don't know the story of Perry the Possum, click here:
My Indoor Friend
Perry and I live quite peacefully together in the garden. When we get too close to his trees, or surprise him, he lets out a very amazing growl. We just leave him to do his thing and I come inside to where it is nice and warm....Perry can patrol my backyard for me at night - I don't mind.

Autumn Leaves
Autumn is the best time of year here. It is when the leaves turn a beautiful colour and fall off the trees. I get to run around in all the leaves on the ground and chase them in the wind! Look at the cool colour that the leaves on this tree have turned!

Happy Mothers Day to all Cat Mothers
I hope you are treating your cat mums with lots of cuddles and purrs today. Here is a photo of me with my servant Vicki, who, when I really get down to it, is my mummy. She certainly spoils me. I promise to sit on her lap all night and purr. Especially because she gave me my favourite to eat today - tuna!

My eating habits
I was reading about my buddy Huffle's three eating bowls and was blown away to read the comments from some of the other cats that they don't have three bowls! I have three bowls (more if you count the ones outside).
The three bowls in the house contain:
1. Wet Food - like my Fancy Feast or real chicken or mince
2. Dry Food - my Purina pump up pills (as Vicki likes to call them)
3. Whiskers Cat Milk - yes, I know, very spoilt
Vicki bought me special crockery bowls from ChinaTown. See, they really suit me.
Then I have a water bowl outside the back door, another one in the fairy garden and another one in the laundry. I also get special outdoor dry food in the laundry which is my breakfast. That consists of a mixture of Friskies and Science Diet for strong teeth....
Yes, I don't always get to eat from the table...

Dinner Guests
Vicki & Paul hosted visitors John & Marilyn last night. I can't believe it - they kicked me outside because the visitors brought their dog, Colin. John & Marilyn are about to embark on a grey nomad odyssey around Australia. Colin is going to keep a blog of their travels:
Colin's blog
So I had to watch them all eating a yummy dinner without me (all because of Colin) and then Colin went to sleep on my lounge!!!!
When they left, I was allowed back inside and I had to check every room to see where Colin had been allowed to go. Then I snuggled up to Vicki & Paul to show them that I am much better company than a dog.

Sunday Routines
We have a Sunday routine here. It is where Paul cooks breakfast on the BBQ for me. I get the best cuts of bacon and some little bits of egg and baked beans. Paul then cooks the leftovers for himself and Vicki.
See if you can spot me, I am guarding the BBQ from pesky bird invasions.
I hope your Sundays are as tasty as mine.
